Check before uploading
- Lyrics are clear in the YouTube version
- Vocal is not too small on phone speakers
- Sibilance and high end are not painful on earbuds
- Harmonies do not hide the main melody
- Video sound effects or narration do not collide with the song
- Credits and instrumental/off-vocal permissions are ready
Why shorts can break the mix
In a short clip, the first second decides vocal distance and level. A natural full-length mix can still feel weak when the intro, first consonant or chorus hit is cut into a short.
Delivery format decisions
| Use | Format |
|---|---|
| YouTube full version | WAV / MP3 |
| Video editing | Head-aligned WAV |
| Shorts edit | Loudness checked for short-form playback |
| Future edits | Decide whether inst / vocal / harmony stems are needed |
What the free check covers
With a 15-second URL, CHBS can review vocal distance, low end, phone playback and the fixes that matter before publishing.
In a free check, the first question is whether the vocal will communicate after upload, not whether the processing sounds impressive in solo.
How FUJI° actually judges it
- Lock the 15 seconds where You are not sure what to send before ordering appears and compare every change on that same section.
- Before adding Vocal Processing, separate whether the main cause is recording, pitch, timing or balance against the instrumental.
- After moving pitch, decide in the full mix, low volume and phone playback before keeping the setting.
